Doug Winkler is a registered patent agent in the intellectual property law firm of Seager Tufte Wickhem and is based in the firm’s Minneapolis, Minnesota office.
Doug’s practice includes preparation and prosecution of domestic and international patent applications encompassing a variety of mechanical technologies, including medical devices. He has drafted and prosecuted patent applications in various technical areas including mechanical and medical devices for clients ranging from sole inventors to large multinational corporations.
Prior to joining Seager Tufte Wickhem, Doug spent several years each with two multinational companies in a variety of roles that included Project Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, and Intellectual Property Specialist. Doug has also spent time working as a freelance Patent Searcher for several clients.
Born in Mankato, Minnesota, Doug received his B.S., summa cum laude, in Manufacturing Engineering Technology from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Doug joined Seager Tufte Wickhem in 2008.
