Jason Burgmaier is a registered patent attorney and member of the intellectual property law firm of Seager Tufte Wickhem, based in the firm’s Minneapolis, Minnesota office.
Jason’s area of practice focuses on client portfolio development and management of patent portfolios including the preparation and prosecution of both domestic and foreign patents applications in the mechanical and electrical arts. He has extensive experience in the medical arts. His practice also includes client counseling regarding clearance investigations, including infringement and validity evaluations, as well as diligence investigations regarding potential targets.
Prior to joining Seager Tufte Wickhem in 2004, Jason took an active role on the family farm where he grew up. As time allows, he continues to be actively engaged in farming. Through his farming experiences, he has first-hand knowledge of evolving developments in agricultural technology, including agricultural machinery, grain handling and processing, livestock management, and site-specific farming including global positioning systems.
