Seager, Tufte & Wickhem LLP is very pleased to welcome Mark Schroeder as a new partner to the firm. Mark is a registered patent attorney based in the firm’s San Clemente, California office. Mark has worked in both private practice and as in-house counsel on patent matters involving medical devices including circuitry, overall design, biological signal analysis and therapeutic methods, as well as wireless communication systems, optical systems, and a variety of other technologies. Mark has particular expertise drafting patent applications involving highly complex analytical methods. In addition, Mark is a co-inventor on several patents related to cardiac signal analysis in implantable medical devices.
Born in Fargo, North Dakota, Mark received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School. He received a B.A. in Mathematics and Spanish, summa cum laude, from Concordia College (Moorhead, Minnesota), and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, with distinction, from the University of Minnesota Institute of Technology. Mark is licensed to practice in both California (2013) and Minnesota (2000).
